His daily "Hit Magazine" program in Columbus, Ohio was a finalist in the International Radio Festival of New York - the only non-syndicated program to earn this distinction.
In 2011, he launched a 5-hour weekly show "Totally Awesome 80s", and in 2013 a 2-hour weekly show "The 80s Vault" that are syndicated nationally through Fishnet Syndication, of which Kent is a Partner.
